What do you want to achieve? Start there and work backwards. Do you want to be signed by a record label? Do you want to announce an event or a release? Do you want to raise your profile? Think about your desired

Are you trying to reach fans, journalists, labels, or sponsors? Who you are talking to will determine your PR Pitch and Plan.
PITCH - This is the tone of your message to fit your audience/stakeholders.
PLAN - Concern yourself with what media or medium suits your target market.
Here’s a Tip...have a point!
You need an angle to make your pitch. Brainstorm ideas and select the workable options to include in your communication with your fans/stakeholders.
We all love wit and verve but our advice is to follow the professional press release template. Journalists prefer this for a reason.
